Where I can buy fertilizer for the jade plant in my office?
I have a small boat that I put together my window. Thanks
Jade plant (Crassula argentea) has an active and a latent growth cycle. Watering and feeding are determined by the cycle. During spring and summer, keep the soil slightly damp. Water thoroughly about once a week, but allow to dry slightly between waterings. Remove excess water from saucer boat. Fertilize with a food 20.10.10 vegetable or 5-10-5 ratio soluble every two weeks. African violet food works very well for most succulents. Keep the plant dry during the months winter as the plant has a latency slightly. Do not fertilize from November through March. Typically, all healthy Jades flower, usually around Christmas, in the hemisphere north. Flowering is triggered by the natural reduction of days. If the plant is in a room that normally has lights on at night, it will be probably not bloom for you. Try to find a suitable location, with natural light for the Jade sometime in early October, with Christmas cactus. Your plant will the rest for you! African Violet Food, which is more readily available to the succulent / cactus is available in any store cash! (WalMart, Target, etc.) If you can find 'Cactus Juice' brand cactus fertilizer that works as well. Always use natural fertilizers – such as Miracle Grow are a tendency to increase sodium levels in the soil over time houseplants!
It would be a Chinese elm (bonsai) growing in a conservatory of this front?
Or would it be better with a Ficus retusa bonsai tree?
Yes it does. … Personally, I prefer the Ficus retusa or any of the Ficus species, but that's just my personal preference. ….. I used to have Chinese elm (bonsai), but I never have again. They are "nice", but there are a few diseases and pests that are attracted to / and run by the Chinese elm, which rapidly spread to other trees and plants. … To me, that's not worth the effort. …. But if you want one for your greenhouse, do not worry by the direction it faces. Just make sure you will not be subjected to direct sunlight, hot and burning from all directions. … The same is true for all trees. …. Above all, "Remember this:" All the trees grow naturally 'Outside', and can not come inside when the weather is hot or cold. … To keep a tree within is invate disaster. Plants kept indoors, should be taken regularly "outside" for a while. …. If the Chinese elm (bonsai) trees should be retained as an "indoor", which would be better to get another tree to exchange with the Chinese elm. Have a growing "Inside", while the other is "Out", then you switch around. … Bonsai Any good book I can say this in more detail. .. I hope this has helped you a bit.
My bonsai is called Ulmus Parvifolia or “Chinese Elm”
It’s growing well, and i do keep seeing new shoots so i know it isn’t dead but the moss around it isn’t the bright green it used to be.
I always check every day if the soil is damp enough and i water it about every 3-4 days.
And i feed it with a special bonsai food every 2 weeks.
It lives indoors as it is recommended and in the summer i was planning to let it be outiside on warm days.
Is there anything i can do to get the moss back to it’s original colour?
Thanks so much

I have no special bonsai scissors, would it be acceptable if you only use a regular pair of scissors to prune leaves and roots of my tree?
I agree with 100% DJK. You may want to consider the kind of tree you have, and if you are taking care of it properly. What is more important than keeping the cut. If you are unsure of the species, they are invited to send a picture to me: wchoat@american-bonsai.com, I will send you the instructions carefully. Meanwhile, please read page bonsai care at my site: http://www.american-bonsai.com

What Christians in the R & S you will find the more subtle, but consistent, in testimony of their faith in the R & S?
Bobby has Bonsai my vote (of which I know). never win the people over the head with it, but always manages to keep his faith in the forefront in their responses. Bonsai, which are wonderful and admire you. Always displayed Christ-like behavior. * Hopes she has not revealed anything Bonsai intended to keep secret * OK, I say, because it is not. Go. Heehee. Yes, Ecterbob is impressive and so is Kal. Everyone that you have listed here are my favorites.
Bonsai Bobby Ecterbob, Ramjet and M. Debra always find to be so secure in their faith that does not feel the need to push others. Truly remarkable examples of what Christians should be.
