How long is the life expectancy of a Ficus Ginseng?

I've been practicing bonsai for about 2 years now and have started playing with a Ficus Ginseng. I have an interesting form provided for it with a twisted trunk and a crystal large room in the center.

Serissa Foetida Bonsai Installation, Part 1

bonsai tree help?

we bought a Serissa foetida in winter and have noticed it has been a recurring problem for which the mold is growing on the ground. Make sure that we were in irrigation have changed the habits of irrigation, and have changed our methods of immersing it. to scrape the ground with regularly to remove mold, but reappears after a day or two. assume that the only thing we can do is return to the pot tree, but not sure how to do this without damaging in any way? We also had difficulty finding useful guides on the internet care so if anyone can point of us in the right direction would be very grateful! thanks. the mold is gray / white.

I have grown hundreds of serissas. The cast is certainly that remain too wet. The best thing would return to pot. Serissas are very hardy plants – probably the easiest of tropical plants. Despite having a trend of falling leaves, usually recovers. You did not hurt at all if you just do not force anything. Once out of the pot and clear most of the soil age, check to see if the roots have rotted from being too wet. If so, prune. No water from the bottom, which will encourage root rot, water from the top like any other plant. Serissas would be a little damp but not wet. If water from the top, you can know when need water again easier by the dry top soil. Here is a link to Flori-data which give the conditions for growth. http://www.floridata.com/ref/S/seri_foe.cfm Other … Bonsai Club International http://www.bonsai-bci.com/species/serissa.html

bonsai seedlings

黒松盆栽の苗についてのヒント。Tips about Kuromatsu Bonsai seedling.

Is there a way to bring a dead seed I think back too life?

I brought a bonsai tree set of holidays and although I did everything it says to do and he did start to grow now has faded and not at all green fingers (I have no idea what to do)

If it is really dead, then there is nothing to do. If he's alive, but his last legs is probably the lack of water. Try dipping the pot halfway up the depth in the water in a container and let soak for 20 minutes (assuming pot year has holes in it). Then leave a day or so in its usual place and hope for the best. Good lucky

mini bonsai

mini bonsai

It's easy to get caught in bonsai picture books. These small trees will not cease to evoke feelings of peace and rest because of their aesthetic appeal. Indeed, would be a wonderful fantasy to walk through beautiful avenues of trees mini. The beauty of this ancient art is perhaps the main reason why many people want to learn to replicate what teachers do.

In the past, the search for small natural specimens was quite dramatic. serious collectors would have to walk through extensions to long or steep terrain in the cold sometimes fair to detect the perfect plant. Once located, careful excavation would to continue to ensure its perfect shape and condition. A picture book old bonsai could even show how a carefully carries a prized collector find from their place of origin back home.

Of course, there was no need to search for specimens and weathering. Art teachers could easily double the effects of the nature of different types of trees such as azaleas, rhododendrons, maples, cherry and peach trees. The best experts could play the old Gradient complete look with small flowers or fruit.

The best way to learn the art is to ask to become an apprentice. In general, because this art originated in Japan, the best specialists to look for are the Japanese. These days however, it is also likely to find a bonsai ebook is written by a teacher who is not Japanese. These are often people who have made great efforts not only to learn the art form but to discover the historical and cultural importance of these trees in miniature. With real teachers, not only learn to produce dwarf plants. You also learn what makes it an important part of Japanese culture and what is expected of you as an aspiring teacher.

A good manual can be as good as a true master. Some of the basic methods you can expect to learn from written expert guide are safe for pots and transplant the appropriate wiring tweaks and correct. excellent bonsai books can also give you a better understanding of how select the perfect tree, how to raise dwarf seeds and how to incorporate miniature samples in an impressive landscape. With a good guide, which can to be so good that no one is believed to be the creator of such beautiful specimens.

There are many different guides trying to compete for your attention. Not all of them can help you achieve the aesthetic effect you want. Although there is no need to strictly follow a Japanese teacher, who must want to follow someone who has learned one or more authentic materials or courses. Check the contents of a guide and find out who wrote it.

Not need to walk through the snow to create a forest perfect small trees. A book bonsai education may be all you need to become a true expert of miniature trees. Find a real source of expert information and begin your journey of relaxation in a world of beauty.

Pruning Japanese Maple Tree Pre Bonsai Part 1

Creating a bonsai forest … any advice?

Ok, so I have lots and lots of bonsai trees and recently decided to creat a "Bonsai forest" of maple seedlings. Basically I want to keep everyone in the same pot and make a mini forest. Has anyone done one of these? Is it healthy to be bonsai in the same pot? Any advice on pruning the roots and transplant when the time if their roots grow together? Any advice at all?? If you know nothing about plants please do not answer that … because I find you intelligent …

Not a lot of books and websites web on the subject. Some of the most famous bonsai, as John Naka's Goshin a plantation forest. Each tree represents one of his grandchildren. So, no, there is no reason not to. I have several sweetgum forest plantations bonsai myself. A lot of forest plantations are not actually replanted. It is very difficult to move the various trees, at the same time none of them being damaged. They are usually potted together in a shallow pan and very likely to stay there. Tips always plant an odd number of trees more natural. Choose a large tree as the focal point, and put in the front of the plantation, the trees another small step back and sides.

bonsai azalea satsuki

bonsai azalea satsuki

azalea bonsai are great plants to grow. Here are some tips on their care. Satsuki azaleas are especially suitable for bonsai.

Transplantation is best done just after flowering in late May to early June in temperate regions. It is also sometimes done in spring, before bud burst. Fall transplanting is not as good. It is not necessary to replant every year, but only when the plants are found to be pot wheels.

Fertilizers used are mostly soybean cake, rape cake and dried fish (herring pie, etc..) These are sprayed and placed in the surface soil in the container, a small amount of one or two times each month. These fertilizers should be mixed in varying proportions depending on plant age and season in which they apply. Liquid fertilizers are the simplest.

The water is given to young plants of three or four times a day in spring, summer and autumn, plants of age, twice a day, in the morning and evening. In warm weather is good to syringe the plants.

Exposure. A sunny location with good ventilation is best for growing Satsuki azaleas, but in the height of summer should be in partial shade, put them on a screen of reed swamp.

The more we are exposed to the sun better than older and thicker the trunk and branches become so in so far as one can afford the time and effort, which should be watered thoroughly to enable them thrive even in the hottest Sun With the approach of freezing weather (in November mostly in general), keep them in a sunny spot and prepare the deck frost.

Propagation. Satsuki Azalea Bonsai are propagated by cuttings. When the young shoots reach a length of 2 ½ to 4 inches and are somewhat artificial (ie in May or June), the buds are cut, some leaves at the base removed, and cut the bases again on a slant and placed in water for two or three hours. These are then must add 1 to 2 inches apart and an inch or so deep in a good rooting medium in a court case. Water, drain, and polyethylene plastic box film. Place in full light (no sun) which should result in 30 to 40 days.

After staying for more than fifteen days and twenty boxes court or pans, which must be transplanted into the ground prepared as described above for young plants. Two weeks or so after that, fertilizer is placed on the ground for growth. If liquid fertilizer is preferred, must be very diluted, otherwise fibrous roots often become damaged and may decline.

The application of liquid fertilizer
Fertilizer use fish emulsion or other commercial liquid fertilizer is diluted according to manufacturer's instructions. DO NOT fertilize. Liquid fertilizers should be applied three to six times a year, from bud burst in spring, and every three to four weeks thereafter until mid or late summer.

How much. Use diluted liquid fertilizer like you're watering. Do not spray foliage with payment of just the floor.

With this attention, which should produce beautiful azalea bonsai.

jade cactus

jade cactus

These two simple Feng Shui tips are special because they have the ability to increase positive energy in your living spaces now and in the future for all who enter and stay there.

It is true, "zesting" is not a bona fide word in the English language, but has chosen this title for meaning root of the word "enthusiasm" which essentially means having a greater enjoyment or spirit, or use / sincere interest in a topic.

To be truly committed to your home or office environment … when experience positive energy that crackles in these spaces to be created with personal touch … this is something that most people never have the opportunity to experiment!

So let's get to it and identify these two councils Feng Shui can take and implement immediately that will help raise the ratio of positive energy in your environment:

1. Spacewalk and perform a "Chi" for verification. This is one of the first things you can do for a single room in any home or office. If you are familiar Wicker Chi, or qi as sometimes written, you know that this is the energy that flows in and through all the spaces. According to Feng Shui teachings, like Chi flows smoothly around objects and through space. Think of a winding road where the Chi flowing quietly around furniture and other objects.

For example, if you enter your house through the front door and a large sofa is too close or incorrectly positioned and blocking the entrance, this blockade will inhibit the flow of energy at home. A wall that is very very close to the entrance you can also create a block that can result in problems such as slow growth or an inability to race the flow of money in space.

Chi image as a stream meandering through space relaxed being evaluated. there is a straight path of door the room that goes directly to the other door that serves as an outlet? If so, the Chi is "running" to the second door, and never finds its way in space resulting in a lack of food for space. In this case, you must place the objects that help direct the flow of chi in and around the rest of the environment (without blocking entirely.)

2. Remove or cover sharp corners or objects and replace as needed. This goes hand in hand with improving Chi for spaces. Sharp corners of furniture, sharp angles that enters the room or even a plant like a cactus (sharp needles) must be addressed with a solution Feng Shui or replaced. If it is not practical to replace a coffee table or desk with the tips, will have to "soften" the corners somehow.

A number of feng shui cures to give solid answers to these energy problems.

For example, you could cover an attractive tissue or throw on table corners, or the position of a living plant health, statue or other works of art against the wall corners to decrease the negative energy caused by sharp bends or "poison arrows", as they are often called.

poisoned arrows are something you want to become more aware and take a decision as it may adversely affect their space so that you may not fully understand. In other words, you may be experiencing results allowed in your life that might originate from the poisoned arrows are causing negative energy in your space!

For a cactus or a plant that has leaves looking sharp, Feng Shui suggests replacing these with plants such as jade (which also attracts money.) Any plant that appeals to you that also safe rounded leaves that work well. A cactus is best kept outdoors when the property can be used in more than a capacity of sentinel or guard, the guard elements and unwanted influences.

Taking the time to implement these two tips of Feng Shui … improve the flow of Chi and neutralize the negative effects of poisoned arrows would do wonders for "zesting" their living space. Try to keep these tips in mind each time you renew or decorate your space!

Bonsai trees? Plz help!?

well i really wanted a bonsai tree, so I bought one of 'Lil installation of this store. I took the tree house and I'm looking on the Internet about how to properly care for my bonsai. My only problem is, is that I have no idea what kind it is?! You have to know what kind of tree you have to say how to care for him, so I'm going to is the best description I can. The tree is like fern. Holidays are smaller in size, are light green, but many of them have Blocher EDEs white around the leaves. The leaves are simple (not compound) and alternated along the branch. The leaves are smooth on the edge, and are round / oval. There is no real "trunck" the tree. only has a thick branch that leaves the soil and then branches into a bunch of smaller branches. nad that's all I can think to say about it, I hope that was enough information. I have another question. Why is moss on the top if the floor of my tree?

You give a very good description. Chances are that serrissa 'also known as "snow rose", but if you send a photo to me at: wchoat@american-bonsai.com, I will positively identify that, then send to supplement the care instructions of that kind in. You may also want to check Bonsai Care page on my site http://www.american-bonsai.com

Crassula Ovata

All leaves have fallen off my Jade plant (Crassula). Help?

It's in a pot. I put in the yard for a day or two and dropped it your all their leaves during the night!

Over watering is the usual cause of this. Bring back within an area not too much sunlight. It must grow new leaves at the time. Crassula need very little water – maybe once a week in summer and none in winter.
